Learn English by watching series, videos and films.
Learning a language should not be boring. That was the starting point for Corentin and Clotaire Marmignon, and the reason they created e-dutainment.
It is a radically different way to learn English: through full-length films and series rather than exercises. An English-learning platform of a new kind.

The e-dutainment experience: a redesigned application
The e-dutainment experience has been completely redesigned. It is simpler, more powerful and more personal. Learning now revolves around three main areas: your profile, the films, and the tests.
A complete training offer, well beyond English.
Our expertise is not limited to a single method — it adapts to what you actually need. Whether you are an individual, a company or an educational institution, there is a route for you.
1. The 'Profile': your learning cockpit
When you open the application you now land on your ‘Profile’ — your personal dashboard. It includes a private space to exchange directly with your trainer if you are following a blended-learning programme.
You also track your progress across three pedagogical pillars: Grammar, Comprehension and Global Knowledge. Above all, the profile gives access to four distinctive activities:
- Grammar (CEFR)
- Copilot (AI)
- Exercises
- Pronunciation (score /100)
Finally, a dashboard shows your statistics and the badges you have unlocked.
2. The 'Films': a catalogue of 12,000 items
The ‘Films’ section has grown enormously. We have gone from 2,000 to more than 12,000 learning items.
That includes full Hollywood films and series, short English lessons built around artists, shows and music, and purpose-made teaching videos.
The filters are extensive: action, comedy and biography, but also art, sport, politics, nature, entrepreneurship, start-up culture, media, travel, ecology, historical events, and material on business, marketing, leadership and innovation. The library is very large.
3. Teaching and 'Tests': 200,000 questions and certifications
More content is good. More teaching is better. We have gone from 21,000 to more than 200,000 questions.
On every video, the learner can answer eight types of question — during or after viewing — to earn points. Everyone progresses at their own pace, with films, series and videos running from two minutes to more than two hours.
The ‘Tests’ section prepares concretely for certification. You will find CEFR-level quizzes and full preparation for the TOEIC and the TOEFL.
Everything is available on iOS, Android and the web, with a more modern interface.
How does e-dutainment teach English?
The e-dutainment experience is simple. First, you choose a film — e-dutainment works with extracts from recent Hollywood productions, so the exposure is immersive from the start. The platform is gamified: it assesses your level and proposes interactive exercises built on the video itself.
It is a distinctive pedagogical approach, designed by Corentin and Clotaire Marmignon.
A method built on cinema and on neuroscience
Why learn English this way? Because immersion is what research on language acquisition keeps pointing to. Instead of memorising vocabulary in isolation, the learner meets it in context — attached to a situation, a tone and an intention. Marmignon Brothers also works with major studios so that the material used is genuinely relevant. This is English learning of a different kind.
The learner at the centre
With e-dutainment the learner is not passive and progresses at their own pace. The platform uses AI to assess listening comprehension continuously.
The aim is to handle English in real situations, professional or personal. Every learner follows a pathway aligned with the CEFR, the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Our certifications: TOEIC and English 360
e-dutainment is not only an application. It is a complete pedagogical system, and that is why our English programmes prepare effectively for the certifications employers actually ask for.
TOEIC & TOEFL:
We prepare academic and professional English for the TOEIC and the TOEFL. Immersion through film is particularly effective preparation for the listening sections.
English 360:
This is our certifying English programme. It validates your skills against the Common European Framework and is recognised for its flexibility.
Online English courses backed by our partners
The Marmignon method is used by significant institutions. A number of international business and engineering schools rely on it for their students, and universities recognise its effectiveness — which has made us a reference in language teaching.
Why learning English through film changes everything
Learning English through film changes the dynamic entirely: it makes the practice something you want to continue. Clotaire and Corentin Marmignon designed the tool so that learners stay motivated and progress both in everyday English and in the vocabulary of their own profession.
